Carnevale Feriolese/Carnevale di Baveno is a long-standing local carnival that brings together residents and visitors in the final days before Lent. The celebrations traditionally take place across two locations: Feriolo, where daytime festivities focus on local food traditions, and Baveno, where the main carnival events are held. The programme typically includes live music, a traditional carnival kitchen serving polenta and local dishes, activities for children, and popular entertainment organised by local associations and volunteers. Masked characters and children’s performances are an essential part of the atmosphere, reflecting the community-based nature of the event.
