The Ossola Trail 2026 will take place on 19 April 2026 in Mergozzo and marks the 18th edition of the race. The event offers three different trail running distances: 28 km (Ossola Sky), 20 km (Ossola Trail), and 10 km (Ossola Speed), allowing both experienced runners and newcomers to participate. The courses include technical mountain sections, forest trails and ridge passages near the Val Grande area, with scenic views over Lake Mergozzo and the surrounding Alps. For the first time, the longer distances are part of the UTMB Index, allowing participants to earn qualification points for international trail races.
